Is HR a cost or revenue center?

This is a question that, surprisingly, no one asks. We have always assumed that HR employs people who work with people in the organization. And this activity costs money, which generates expenses. The costs are not insignificant, which is why efforts are made to reduce them. Outsourcing, for example. In some cases, this has resulted in minor savings. At the same time, however, value has been lost.

But does it have to be this way? 

What if we started thinking about how we could value the services that HR provides.  And insert them into the financial results?

During the meeting, we will open up following questions:

• Is it possible for HR to be a profit center?
• What services does the HR organization provide and what is their value?
• Internal HR or outsourcing?
• Flawed methods used to "cut the cost" of HR work.
• How to approach building a financially independent HR department?

Let's not be afraid to take a critical look at at the issue and try to radically innovate activities that many consider immutable.
